News: National Apprenticeship Week

Posted 11-7-2016

Across the Country close to 70% of all registered apprenticeship programs are in the building trades. National Apprenticeship week provides an opportunity to tell the story of the JATC Apprenticeship in Los Angeles, California.

As a leader in Apprenticeship Training, IUOE Local 501 JATC proudly celebrates Apprenticeship Week, with an open house to the public on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 between the hours of 1:00pm-4:00pm.

Apprenticeship with IUOE Local 501 is a work-based experience and classroom education while paid an hourly salary; this combination uses the highest industrial standards in the trade. The IUOE Local 501 Apprenticeship program is a collective effort among the State, Employers, Labor-Union, Educators and many more organizations. Apprenticeship leads to experience on the job and an education in the industry that is a success for the Employer and the Employees life career.

IUOE Local 501 will continue developing an innovative and educated workforce through its Apprenticeship Program; please come and join the celebration.
